My Father

My Father, Jorge Arevalo, was welcomed by the Lord this morning.

I loved him. He loved me as well. Our relationship was always conflicted. I've tried to understand the reasons why we butted heads so many times. We didn't have a really good beginning but what he left me was priceless;

Work Ethic

Responsibility

Always go for that extra mile and beyond

Help those in need

My daughters will never meet their grandfather. They will meet him through pictures and stories but most importantly, I will teach them the same things my father taught me.

Here's my dad with Sofia.

He's got the coolest poses. He sure knew how to look good all the time.

My mom and dad when they were dating. A year later they were married.

Sandra,

I am so sorry for your loss.

You will see your Father again in heaven and then it will be the beautiful relationship you longed for here. All hope is not lost because of Christ.

As I cry for you and ponder what your reunion with him will be like in heaven, I think, too, you and I will meet in heaven someday.

I may never have the priviledge of meeting you in this life but we will meet in heaven, my sister. I'll look for you there (a long time from now, though -God willing.)

May the God of ALL comfort and peace be with you and your family in this very difficult time.

Your words have deeply touched me.

Thank you for your kind words, prayers and support. You are truly in the Spirit and it is my wish to meet my father one day in Heaven where he and I will reconcile in the Lord and you will be there to witness it.

You are a blessing in my life.

Your sister in Christ.

-Sandra.
