Faltering Steps

Show us Thy way, O Lord, and let us walk in Thy Paths.

You are doing so. This is the way. The way of uncertain future and faltering steps. It is my Way....

Put all fear of the future aside. Know that you will be led. Know that you will be shown. I have promise.

Life is a Love Story

Heartbroken without answers, you are gone and I seek answers that I can't find alone. You scarred me for life when all I was seeking was love and acceptance. You left without uttering a word and all I have is the scars you inflicted upon me. Did you ever love me? Did you ever accepted who I am? I'm struggling through anger seeking refuge in the arms of the Lord; my hope is that someday, I find peace and understanding.

--------------------------

You need Me. I need you.

My broken world needs you. Many a weary troubled heart needs you. Many a troubled heart will be gladdened by you, drawn nearer to Me by you both.

Health--Peace--Joy--Patience--Endurance, they all come from contact with Me.

Oh! it is a glorious way, the upward way, the wonderful discoveries, the tender intimacies, the amazing, almost incomprehensible, understanding.  Truly the Christian Life--Life with Me--is a Lovestory. Leave all to Me.

All you have missed you will find in Me, the Soul's Lover, the Soul's Friend, Father--Mother--Comrade--Brother. Try Me.

You cannot make too many demands upon Me--nor put too great a strain upon My Love and Forbearance.

Claim, claim, claim Healing--Power--Joy--Supply--what you will.

Rejoice at Weakness

Yes! I know all. Every cry for mercy. Every sigh of weariness. Every plea for help. Every sorrow over failure. Every weakness.

I am with you through all. My tender sympathy is yours. My strength is yours.

Rejoice at your weakness, My children. My strength is made perfect in weakness. When you are weak then am I strong. Strong to help, to cure, to protect.

Trust Me, My children. I know all. I am beside you. Strong, strong, strong to save. Lean on My Love, and know that all is well.

Faith Rewarded

Think much of My servants of old. How Abraham believed the promise (when as yet he had no child) that in his seed all the nations of the earth should be blessed.

How Moses led the Children of Israel through the desert, sure that, at last, they would gain the Promised Land.

Down through the ages there have always been those who obeyed, not seeing but believing, and their faith was rewarded. So shall it be even with you.

-----------------------------

What is impossible for us is easily achievable by God if our faith allows it. God never fails to tell me exactly what he wants to tell me. I opened my "God Calling" book and this is what he said to me. He wants full trust from John and I. Not half of it but all of it. He has come through for us giving us our marriage back and on top of that becoming, at last, parents. Not seeing but believing.

All is Well

When I feel down, the Lord knows what to say to tell me that everything will be okay because he's with me everyday. This is what he said to me today:

Remember My Words to My disciples, "This kind cometh not out but by prayer and fasting." Can you tread the way I trod? Can you drink of My cup? "All is Well."
Long though the way may seem, there is not one inch too much. I, your Lord, am not only one inch too much. I, your Lord, am not only with you on the journey, -I planned, and am planning, the journey.
There are Joys unspeakable in the way you go.
Courage, Courage, Courage.

After reading this, I burst into tears, because it is courage that I lack due to the uncertainty of the unknown that is coming my way, but this reading today reassure me that All is Well and will be.

Praise the Lord.

Answer to a Prayer

I have learned to bend my knees when I seek the Lord. I have learned that God is merciful, loving and forgiving.

My heart has been troubled for some time and I tend to seek out solutions on my own only to find that I achieve nothing by myself only to remember that with the Lord, his will and not mine should be the focus of my life and through his will, I should live every day of my life.

It is fear that leads me to do my will because I feel it is the fastest solution to my problems. When nothing is achieved, I get anxious and fear the worst outcome.

Last night I felt overwhelmed by not been able to find a solution to my problem. I felt lost. I dropped to my knees and prayed and cried and cried so more. I was reminded that I'm not alone.

This morning, I happened to open my devotional book call "God Calling" this book was given to me by a beautiful lady at my church who was helping me cope with my separation and divorce from John.

I opened the page to today's date, February 8 and here's what it said:

On Me Alone:
I AM your Lord, your supply. You must rely on Me. Trust to the last uttermost limit. Trust and be not afraid. You must depend on Divine Power only. I have not forgotten you. Your help is coming. You shall know and realize My Power.
Endurance is faith tried almost to breaking point. You must wait, and trust, and hope, and joy in Me. You must not depend on man but on Me, on Me, your Strength, your Help, your Supply. This is the great test. Am I your supply or not? Every great work for Me has had to have this great test-time.
Possess y our souls in patience and rejoice. You must wait until I show the way. Heaven itself cannot contain more joy than that soul knows, when, after the waiting-test, I crown it Victor, but no disciple of Mine can be victor, who does not wait until I give the order to start. You cannot be anxious if you know that I am your supply.

I was crying all through this reading because God is telling me exactly what he wants me to do. Wait for him, patiently; He has not forgotten me! His ways of communicating back to me will never cease to surprise me.

I will wait for him and accept his will because it is the best for me. It is what he has ready for me. -Sandra.
