A Happy 4th Birthday for Raquel!

My baby girl, Raquel, turned 4 on November 3rd. Where has the time gone! Oh yeah, they have turned my hair gray and given me more wrinkles. But that's okay, I'm loving every minute of motherhood. I just wish I could hold her when she was a week old again.

All Raquel wanted was her ice cream cake and her Daddy had to photo bomb her picture.

And he photo bomb this one too!

Sofia was happy because she got a couple of presents from Grandma Libby just because. I was never that lucky.

Love my baby!

Raquel's 3rd Birthday!

My baby is growing so fast! Today, she turned 3 years old and she's officially not a baby anymore. I do, do, do want a third baby! It was a very small celebration, very few people (minus one.)

Ice Cream Cake! Raquel's favorite!

Raquel enjoyed when we sang happy birthday to her! She felt special!

She blew all three candles!

Sofia trying out the cake before everyone.

Caught red handed!

My beautiful daughters!

Raquel is Potty Trained!

It took only 3 weeks once again, same time frame as it took me to train Sofia but this time there was less crying and much less accidents. I'm even impressed Raquel is not waking up in the middle of the night to go the bathroom.

Therefore, ADIOS DIAPERS! WIPES AND BABY BUTT CREAM!

Yes, I do want another baby but I am not 25 anymore.

Yey!

Raquel's Surgery

Today, Raquel Seaman had her Adenoids removed. I dreaded this day so much I had nightmares last night. The only thing that was hilarious is when she was given the Silly Medicine to make her drowsy and laugh at everything; they are giving this so that they won't have separation anxiety.

Recovery time is never fun. She became hysterical and she her nose was bleeding. Blood makes my knees go weak but thankfully John was there to help me out. I'm thankful this part is over!

What are the odds!

What are the odds of both of your children to suffer from the same thing? Very likely said the ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) Doctor this morning after we inserted a tiny camera into Raquel's nostrils to check whether or not Raquel's adenoids were swollen after having four sinus infections back to back.

My suspicions were correct even though John doubted Raquel would have the same problem and unfortunately for Raquel she must now face surgery just like Sofia. I'm upset but it is for the best and after seeing how well Sofia has been dealing with her allergies, I feel optimistic. The only bad thing is recovery time after surgery.

I ask for prayers on Raquel's upcoming surgery; I will update.

God bless!

Raquel's Baptism

It is never too late and we finally baptized Raquel! It was a very rainy cold day in Dallas but we didn't care, it was a blessed day for us!
Raquel was mysteriously quiet and relax for her baptism and for that I praise the Lord!

The Godparents, David and Yesenia Dunn. The new Compadres!

Unfortunately, Raquel never cracked a smile.

I forgot to ask Sofia to lend a smile to Raquel.

Sofia and Andrew.

Sammy, el loquito.

Abuelito!

Grandma Libby!

Sofia with her Auntie/Godmother Wendy.

Auntie Vanessa!

Deacon Randy who conducted Raquel's baptism is filled with the Holy Spirit. He's amazing! He speaks with so much warmth and love of Christ.

And afterwards, we went to eat!

Raquel turns 2!

Raquel turned 2 this past Thursday

And two days later we celebrated her birthday with Musubi which suprisingly everyone loved and a pinata. Unfortunately, Raquel was afraid of the Pinata, but for Sofia was finally brave enough to beat the Pinata.
