I Wrote a Novel

I just finished my last draft of my novel, 100,000 word novel. One of the things I have accomplished as a stay-at-home mom.

Titled: THE CURSE OF THE EMERALD STONE

Growing up, I loved watching Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone movies.

I loved the thrill and adventure of these movies.

Don't judge, it took me 5 years to finish it, not because I didn't have a beginning, an end, or a plot. I had it all, but I was grieving my father who died tragically, and I had no chance to heal our broken relationship.

I gave up writing several times, and my husband picked me back up. I believe in my story and love it. But writing it is only the easy task. Publishing my story will be the hardest. Accepting all the rejections and pushing forward to see it come to life.

Wish me luck.

Stay at Home Mom looking for Part Time job

Looking to come back to work but the hours just don't work. Wondering why there isn't yet a place of work where they can hire stay at home moms.

We are loyal, we thrive to help our family anyway we can to fight off the guilt of STAYING at home, although, it is the case for me, but not for some.

Stay at home moms, want to to desperately EARN money to help our household, and husbands.

I've tried to come up with a home business but have failed (3 times.) I thought third time was the charm but it wasn't.

I did write a cool 100K page story. Currently writing my synopsis which is harder than writing 100,000 words!

I do love my story. My husband does too. He was impressed, so were two friends of mine who helped edit the story and give me their constructive criticism.

Rant over. Back to the kitchen and cleaning.

Sandra Seaman.

Vote Today

Vote today or shut up, some say.
Vote today or live with the consequences, others say.
Vote today or regret who you vote for later, people say.
Vote your conscious or not.

Either way you vote or don't vote, half of the population will celebrate and the other will mourn and whine and call it corruption.

Democracy never wins. Its just it.
