True Story! I swear!

So this afternoon, I decided to hit Tom Thumb and shop for some items I needed before I headed back home. So, down I went looking for Dish Soap wearing my running shorts and while I was deciding whether to spend $2.99 or $8.99 for the bigger bottle of dish soap, suddenly a sixty year old man abruptly stops at the end of the isle and says:

60YOM - "Holy Cow! You are Brown!"

ME - I was startled by the sudden interruption from the odd stranger. "Uhm, yeah, I'm brown."
I'd like to say that I wanted to laugh out loud. I mean, really! I was born light brown, and I do tend to darkened when I hit the pool. duh!

60YOM - "How did you do it?" He looks at me up and down. Weird. "Wait, don't tell me, you've been going to the pool?

ME- "Actually, I have."

60YOM - "Wow, well, you look great. I am golfing tomorrow and I hope I can as brown as you."

Me- "Good luck!"

Seriously, this world needs a life!!!

Goofy Stuff!

So one day, we had nothing to do but build Ponyville.

Sofia may look like me, but it's nothing like me. Coco killed this lizard, Sofia had to make sure he was dead and was pretty intrigued by how it looked. Raquel and I stayed behind...

Again, nothing I ever did at her age.

Look Mommy!

One of the fishies died. We were all shocked.

Yep, we buried it. Sofia finally named it, Lucy.

We said a prayer.

On more happier times, Sofia reading Clifford to Coco Beware.

Coco, the Princess!

While Sofia practiced her cartwheels, Coco stayed in that same position watching Sofia.

We made cupcakes, and they ate cupcakes before they were cooked!
Times two!

My babies had the flu last week and here she is acting goofy!

Sofia's Preschool Graduation

After a long hiatus, not because I didn't have anything to say or show, but because I was under a personal deadline that I had to meet.

Well, since I'm here, I'll start with what's been going on lately with us.

Sofia's Preschool graduation! It was bittersweet. To think she started going at 18 months old for only two days up to her 4 year old class was like closing a chapter and to begin a new one.

Sofia and Valentina, they both stared the program since they were 18 months!

Wearing her flower lei!

Here's Raquel with her candy lei while John showed her to do the shaka.

Here's Sofia sitting among her schoolmates who also started since they were babies!

Recieving her certificate!

Posing with her teacher, Ms. Bridget!
